Privacy Policy

LeFinTech Ltd (“LeFinTech”, “we”, “us”) provides LEPOCKETCFO, LEPOCKETSHOP, this website, and our Facebook Page and Messenger experience. This policy explains what personal information we collect, how we use it, and how you can ask us to delete it. It is written so it can be used as the privacy policy and user-data deletion instructions for our Facebook app.

Information we collect

We collect only what we need to run our products and to reply to you.

  • Contact details you send us. If you join a trial, subscribe with your email, or fill in a form, we collect the details you submit, such as your name, email address, phone number, and restaurant or shop name.
  • Business information you enter in our products. LEPOCKETCFO may store quotes, invoices, expenses, cash-flow figures, and files you upload for receipt or business-card reading. LEPOCKETSHOP may store the shop or restaurant details you give us.
  • Messages. If you write to us by email, phone, or Facebook Messenger, we keep the message and the contact details needed to reply.
  • Technical data. Our website may record standard server and browser data such as IP address, browser type, device type, and pages visited, so the site can load and so we can keep it secure.

Facebook and Messenger

Our website loads the Facebook JavaScript SDK and a Messenger “Message Us” button for our Facebook Page. If you use those features, Meta Platforms, Inc. (“Meta”) and we may each receive some information:

  • If you message us on Messenger, we receive the conversation, your Facebook name, your profile picture, and the page-scoped identifier Meta assigns for that conversation.
  • The Facebook SDK may send app events to Meta, such as a page view or use of the Messenger button. If you are logged into Facebook in that browser, Meta may connect those events to your Facebook account under Meta’s Privacy Policy and Meta’s cookies policy.
  • We do not receive your Facebook password.
  • We do not sell information received from Facebook.
  • We do not use information received from Facebook to build advertising audiences, to sell to data brokers, or for any purpose other than operating our products, answering you, securing the service, and meeting a legal duty.

You can remove an app’s access from your Facebook settings under Settings & privacy > Settings > Apps and websites. You can also delete a Messenger conversation in the Messenger app.

How we use information

  • To provide LEPOCKETCFO and LEPOCKETSHOP, including invoices, quotes, expense records, and the files you ask us to read.
  • To answer enquiries sent by email, phone, the website, or Messenger.
  • To send the trial or product messages you asked for. We do not use the trial form to send unrelated marketing.
  • To keep the website and products secure, to fix faults, and to understand whether a feature is working.
  • To meet accounting, tax, or other legal duties that apply in Mauritius.

Who we share information with

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in these cases:

  • Meta, when you use the Facebook SDK or Messenger on our site. Meta processes that data under its own policies.
  • Service providers that host our website or store data for us, and only so they can perform that work.
  • Authorities, when the law requires us to disclose information.

How long we keep information

We keep personal information for as long as we need it to provide the service you asked for, to answer you, or to meet a legal duty. Messenger conversations and contact-form records are kept while the enquiry is open and for a limited period afterwards. Account and business records that we must keep for tax or accounting are kept for the period the law requires. When we no longer need the information, we delete it or remove the details that identify you.

How to ask us to delete your data

You can ask LeFinTech to delete personal information we hold about you, including information we received because you contacted us through Facebook or Messenger. This section is our user data deletion instructions for the Facebook app.

  1. Email lefintechltd@gmail.com with the subject line Data deletion request.
  2. Tell us the Facebook name or profile you used, and any email address or phone number you gave us, so we can find the right records.
  3. We will delete the Messenger conversation records and other personal information we can match to that request. We may keep a short record of the request itself, and any information we are required to keep by law or to resolve a dispute.
  4. We will complete the deletion and email you a confirmation within 30 days.

Removing LeFinTech from your Facebook “Apps and websites” settings stops future access from your Facebook account. It does not by itself delete copies we already stored. Send the email above if you want those copies deleted.

Your other rights

Under the Mauritius Data Protection Act 2017 you may ask us for a copy of your personal information, ask us to correct it, or object to a particular use. Email lefintechltd@gmail.com. You may also contact the Data Protection Office of Mauritius if you are not satisfied with our response.

Children

Our products are for business owners and their teams. They are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has sent us personal information, email us and we will delete it.

Where information is processed

We are based in Mauritius. Meta and some of our hosting providers may process information in other countries. When that happens, we rely on the safeguards those providers offer and on the fact that you chose to use a Facebook or Messenger feature.

Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page. The current version is always available at this URL.
